For household use, most of the plastic wrap sold by domestic brands are made of polyethylene. However, the horeca industry still uses PVC film to cover food and meat packaging. Juyou film has successfully developed a substitute based on polyethylene, which is better than the traditional PVC film, save 40% costs.
PVC Replacement, PE-based Food Packaging Cling Film
Polyethylene (PE), the base material for Juyou food service films, is a structurally simple polymer with minimal environmental impact. It is easy to recycle, and when destroyed, it burns into hydrogen and carbon without any polluting components.
Polyethylene foodservice films were developed to mimic the key physical properties of PVC films such as softness, tackiness and clarity. It turns out that PE film is better than PVC film in many ways.
Polyethylene foodservice film is an ideal replacement for traditional films that contain toxic plasticizers (such as phthalates), harmful heavy metals (such as lead and mercury), biocides and other toxic substances that are harmful to human health.
Polyethylene films have been recognized as one of the most innovative at some of the industry’s largest trade shows, such as NRA Show 2018 in Chicago, USA and IFA 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany, in response to the ecological pressure caused by the controversial PVC film.
Now after time test, from the functional point of view, users will not find any difference in usage between our PE film and PVC film.

Cutter Blade Type:
Plastic (PET), plastic serrated or sliding cutter (glue and push on).

The blades on the cutter are not exposed, preventing any accidental cuts or injuries. It cuts the film easily, thus reducing waste.
